LOUISIANA · MISSISSIPPI · ALABAMA

Operations consulting for Gulf South service businesses.

Make the next step clear, from the first inquiry to the last customer update.

HOG designs and manages workflows around the people, tools, and commitments already inside your business. We serve owners across all three states through remote and on-site work, with the approach agreed before you commit.

Eight questions. A plan to keep. No email required.

START WITH THE WORK THAT GETS STUCK

What would a better handoff look like?

These are illustrative workflows, not customer results. Choose a problem to discuss before choosing a package.

01 / LEAD OPERATIONS

An inquiry needs an owner.

A request arrives while the team is on a job. Record who will respond, what they need to confirm, and when the next action is due.

02 / ESTIMATE OPERATIONS

An estimate needs the missing input.

Scope details are spread across notes and messages. Put the required inputs, preparation steps, and approval responsibility in a shared process.

03 / REVENUE RECOVERY

An open opportunity needs a decision.

An estimate has gone quiet. Review its status, decide whether a follow-up is appropriate, and set a next action or close the loop.

04 / CUSTOMER OPERATIONS

A customer needs a clear update.

A commitment moves between the office and the field. Make the responsible person, promised update, and review date visible to the team.

Operational Architecture is the methodology behind the four Operations: understand the work, define ownership, connect handoffs, and create a review routine.

AGREE ON THE WORK BEFORE THE PACKAGE

A scope your team can use.

Remote and on-site delivery are ways to understand and support the workflow. The right mix depends on the work itself.

  1. 01

    Walk through a real example.

Show where progress stopped, who was involved, and what the delay or rework cost in time.

  2. 02

    Confirm the delivery plan.

Agree on the supported workflow, tools, approvals, responsibilities, and whether an on-site visit belongs in the scope.

  3. 03

Define how progress will be checked.

Set a starting baseline and review measures that fit the problem, such as response time, estimate turnaround, or overdue actions.

EVIDENCE BEFORE EXPECTATIONS

Research is a reason to test.
Your results need measuring.

Read the research behind structured operational practices, its limits, and what to measure in your own business. Published findings are not HOG client results or a promise of your return.

BEFORE WE WORK TOGETHER

Practical questions.

Where does HOG work?

HOG serves service businesses across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Tell us where your team works and what needs attention so we can confirm a practical delivery scope.

Is the work remote, on-site, or both?

Both are available. We agree on the mix for your workflow. On-site location, timing, travel requirements, and any separate charges are confirmed in the proposal; they are not automatically included by selecting a package.

Do we need to replace our existing tools?

We start by understanding your current tools and process. Any proposed integration or replacement must fit the agreed scope and be confirmed as available before you commit.

How do we start?

Take the free Operations Check, or bring one workflow problem to Lathen. You can also use the free Open Estimate Reset Kit without an email or account.

What can HOG support today?

HOG is founder-led and early in development. The four Operations describe the commercial offer; available capabilities, delivery timing, integrations, and support are confirmed in your proposal. We will be direct about what is ready and what still needs to be built.
